The morning started with an early start as we walked the boys prior to leaving. The wonderful sons and their equally wonderful girls are house and doggie sitting for us which is nice.
All showered and packed we were picked up at 6am for our journey to Melbourne Airport. Had heaps of time but after the tunnels being closed on Wednesday we did not want to risk any delays in good old Melbourne traffic. Was a normal hour ride and we arrived.
Off we went to check in and the wonderful Qantas lady got us on an earlier flight so no messing around in Melbourne. First stop security and Dusan was stopped for the explosives test. Next a coffee and toilet stop in the Qantas lounge and they were calling our flight. Walk to the gate, take your seat and off to Sydney. Breakfast and reading of the newspaper later and we were starting to land, too easy.
As we arrived at domestic we were able to catch the courtesy bus to the international terminal which went past all the hangers with planes in them. Once we arrived we called Tania (dear sis-in-law) who works at the airport to see if she would be able to catch up for a coffee. Of course she could! So we had a coffee with her and Frank. Wonderful!
Off through customs and the guy screening the bags decided mine had something suss in it.........glasses cleaner and lipgloss! Then a bit of duty free shopping, perfume and I bought GOF a beautiful watch.
Now we are sitting in the Qantas lounge, admiring the beautiful view of Sydney waiting for our flight to Jakarta.
