Day of walking and shopping.

Slept in, being to be a bit of a habit, and showers and breakfast then off we went. Salzburg has two hills one on each side of the river so we thought we would take a wander up the one directly in front of us.




Was beautiful. Lovely coloured autumn leaves.....we saw a squirrel and walked about 2000 steps........I will never complain again at Pilates when Amy wants another 20 seconds.......we found where there is a restaurant but it was closed today. Off we went again and ended back up on the street which we knew. A lovely time.







We then went back over to the old part of the city and wandered around a bit more. There are many lane ways that after a while start looking the same yet different. We found a clothes shop and I bought gloves, a shawl and some boots. Kept walking and we saw Zara and then H & M.........H & M are our new love. We both bought shirts and I got a jumper..........




Walked back to the hotel and found a supermarket and found a bottle of Dom........dinner is a bottle of bubbles and a sandwich........spending the kids inheritance.




Tomorrow is an early start with the train to Stuttgart and seeing Laura from USA and meeting her family........more exciting travels.
