Time to Cruise.

One place we have always wanted to tick off the bucket list is Dubrovnik in Croatia. I was having trouble trying to get there from Slovenia when we decided to tick off another item - let's go on a cruise!!!!! This meant that we would also see a few more countries as well and experience something different. So packed up, bye bye Venezia and off we go cruising.

We had organised a water taxi to take us to the port but we had to be careful as we had heard sometimes the driver will only take you to the start of the port not actually to where the ship people are waiting. Of course we had a driver who tried but no luck.

Check in was a breeze, friendly staff, easy directions and we were on our home for the next 8 days.

We found the cafe and grabbed some lunch then found our rooms, dumped our hand luggage and off to explore the ship. Once again I am having directional trouble but having 3 other people to hold my hand maybe by the end of the trip I will be able to venture out by myself and find my cabin at the end!

After 2 weeks of strange beds, pillows and no recliner GOF booked in for a massage, Braden had one too and Andrea and I decided to watch the ship leave Venice. We found out after that soon the ships will not be leaving Venice through the Grand Canal so are glad to have had the experience.

Dinner time which we enjoyed with a couple from Scotland then bedtime. A good nights sleep then off to Dubrovnik.
