Piggy enjoyed the view!
Across the road and a coffee and croissant and the usual toilet stop then lined up for the steps up to the second floor of the Tower. A slight techno delay with the ticket reader and we were on our way. When you stop for the first time and people walk past you usually know you will pass them further on.

Mission accomplished, 669 steps, we did it!!!!! Lift then to the top and appreciate the magnificent view of Paris - awesome.

Back down in the lift and off we went this time to see the Louvre. A lovely walk along the Seine and then we made it just as it started spitting. Just a photo op and we then went to a cafe and had a pizza for lunch.
Next stop Notre Dame. As Dusan and I had seen this last trip Andrea and Braden joined the line to walk to the top and we enjoyed a coffee then bubbles in a small cafe. While we were sitting there it started to rain so we watched people and how they react to umbrellas, cars and each other - entertainment.
We had not realised that the big building as you walk to Notre Dame is a huge police station, we saw several people who had ended up going home in the back of a divvy van!!!! The police also were towing cars from the streets, it was interesting to watch.
Rain had set in so taxi back to the hotel. I went to buy some nose spray to hopefully stop me snoring so much and then dinner then bed. An early start in the morning as we are going to Amsterdam for the day.
