Time in Paris & Slovenia.

An early start again and we were off. Our theory is turn let, turn right, straight ahead and see where it takes us........I think in Paris all roads somehow lead to the Eiffel Tower. 7.30 am and we arrived at the Trocadoro. Brides everywhere having there pictures taken with the Tower in the background, beautiful. (Sorry the pics may be sideways....I haven't had time to move them around.








Memories of the past trip and I saw my carousel but the balloon was out of order.......hope I didn't break it two years ago.

Over the bridge, Tower pics overload and then we found a place to have some breakfast. Walked more along the Seine and we saw a Ferris wheel in the distance.....so off we went.

There was a carnival next to The Louvre with heaps of rides and I am sure a Dagwood dog van and some hot donuts. The ride was lovely with a beautiful view of all of Paris.














Off we went again and saw two beautiful churches, a stop at Laudree for sorbet and strolled past some high end fashion shops, art shops and found where the French President stays when he is in town......this is not on any maps and we weren't allowed to cross the road to get closer.




















Lunch time and rest my feet time and we found a place and had some local cuisine, fresh and way too much but yum.

Back walking, missed the hotel by 4 blocks and then we found it.

Shoes off and drinks outside in the balloon......I would love one for my backyard.

The next morning another early start, taxi to the airport, almost an hour to find our gate etc then a baby plane to Slovenia.








Bus to our home for 5 nights. We are staying at a 200 year old house on the top floor. It is a studio apartment and is really cute. The stairs are worn from age and we have a big door to go through.














Runners on again and off we went. Ljublinana is beautiful. Love it. Wandered around, ate a bit of lunch, wandered more then found a lovely place for dinner. The gnocchi was almost as good as Dusan makes!!!!! Bedtime ..,......need to sleep for another big day ahead. ( oh, my poor feet!!!!)

Day 2 in Ljublinana - last more walking, they have a market every day so bought some raspberries for breakfast.
































Wandered around more and decided to take a boat ride on the river. Gave us another perspective. Old buildings, wonderful people and heaps of fun. If you took out the cars and the mobile phones then it would be like you are in a time warp!!!!!































Back for a sleep and rest my weary feet and now out to dinner.
